CONTRIBUTIONS OF WOMEN TOWARDS NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: A FOCUS ON NIGERIA

Abstract

Abstract Education is an important yardstick for measuring the success in life of an individual in any given society. The importance of women education to national development cannot be over emphasized. This paper discusses the concept of women education, concept of national development, objectives of women education and factors inhibiting women education in Nigeria. It posits the role of women education in national development vis-à-vis the above concepts. The paper recommends that government should improve investment on women education.
