BUSINESS EDUCATION: THE DRUG FOR UNEMPLOYMENT DISEASES

Abstract

Abstract This paper is designed to examine Business Education as a Drug to Unemployment Diseases. It focuses on the concepts of Business Education, its objectives, as aimed at preparing students for employment after graduation. The relevance of Business Education includes; knowledge gained from business education can be used by the students to be able to flow effectively in the labor market. The researcher, explain Business education skills and its classes; manufacturing, services and occupation as an avenue to wage unemployment. Business education curricula contains scheme such as Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme(SIWES) through Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in making sure that student are on the study training for preparation of the challenges they may likely face in the job market. Recommendations were made, among which includes; Proper orientation of the students which need for skill edict to have a significant promotional content that would stimulate and sustain the interest of the students in the program. The issue of wage earning culture should be discouraged by encouraging a self-reliant culture.
