Abstract The paper examines the role of biological garden in entrepreneurship education among biology students to reduce the rate of unemployment in Nigeria. There are animals and plants of economic value which when kept accordingly can be used to generate different business ideas, for example poultry production, fish farming, rabbitary, snail production, orchard for production of various economic fruits and production of ornamental flowers. An effective teaching and learning method could be adopted to group the students’ based on the semesters to provide various opportunities for acquisition of skills in different enterprise. Decision making, management, record keeping, leadership, communication, marketing and risk bearing and other skills will be acquired. The entrepreneurial skill gained is an effective remedy for the serious problem of unemployment that is retarding the development of Nigeria.
